...you would like to gain experience abroad, but have missed the application deadline for an Erasmus semester or don't want to go abroad for a whole semester?

Then why not take part in a Winter or Summer School?

A Winter or Summer School usually takes place over a period of 1-4 weeks on a specific topic. It's a great way to gain international experience, get to know a new country and meet students from all over the world.

We are collecting the Winter/Summer schools for 2024/2025 and are providing them here. 

Go East Summer Schools 2024 (Funding via DAAD scholarships)

 

As part of the "Go East" initiative, the DAAD supports participation in summer schools in the countries of Central, Southeast and Eastern Europe as well as the South Caucasus and Central Asia.

These include many exciting offers in numerous countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Hungary and Uzbekistan.

*The Summer school program is designed as a two week program, but if you can/want to participate on just one course, it is possible. Please, select a specific course in the application form.

The fee includes tuition and welcome pack, certificate of Attendance and Transcript of records, professional administrative support before, during and after the program.

The fee does not include visa, travel, accommodation, living costs, insurance and other related costs, such as sending documents by DHL if required by candidate.

Fees: The program is sponsored by our partner university. There are no costs for the program, accommodation and meals.

Warsaw Summer School 

Two-week program at the Warsaw School of Economics

From 1.-14.07.24

Application deadline: 12.05.24 (how to apply) 

Fees: 

The Participation fees for SUW 2024 are as follows:

  • 950 euro – base fee for attending one course, meals (10 breakfast before classes, 10 lunches and 8 afternoon snacks) and cultural events in Warsaw
  • 420 euro – fee for attending a second course
  • 200 euro – optional accommodation in students’ dormitory, in double rooms for 15 nights
  • 340 euro – optional trip to Cracow and Wieliczka (by bus)

Summer University Warsaw fees should be paid after candidate’s acceptance but before their arrival.

Please note that fees do not cover:

  • insurance (students have to buy one on their own)
  • students' arrival and departure (plane tickets, train tickets etc.)
  • bus tickets in Warsaw
  • food during weekend
