Faculty Board

The Faculty Board consists of the Dean, the Associate Deans and the Dean of Studies. It is elected by the Faculty Council from among the full-time professors who are members of the faculty. The term of office is four years.

The team around the Dean is responsible for the strategic development of the Faculty in accordance with the goals of the UHOH Structure and Development Plan (SEP) and the Faculty's mission. It ensures the organizational, financial and personnel conditions and ensures the smooth running of the academic self-government and its decision-making processes.

Dean

The Dean represents the Faculty within and outside the University. He ensures that the resolutions are implemented. He is responsible for all structural, financial and job-related matters, for public relations and international accreditation. He chairs the Faculty Council and the Habilitation Committee.

Vice Dean for Research and Knowledge Transfer

The 1st Vice Dean, as "Vice Dean for Research and Knowledge Transfer", is responsible for all doctoral and post-doctoral matters, the research priorities of the faculty and topics such as knowledge transfer and continuing academic education. In addition, he represents the faculty in the Senate Commission for Research.

Vice Dean for International Relations

The 2nd Associate Dean, as the "Associate Dean for International Relations," is responsible for performing duties related to international affairs and external relations for the faculty.

Dean of Studies

The Dean of Studies is responsible for all topics and processes concerning the study programs of the faculty. In this capacity, he also comments, for example, on pedagogical-didactic suitability in selection and appointment procedures for (tenure-track junior) professorships. He is chairman of the study commission and represents the faculty in the senate commission on teaching.
