The Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences (BESS) aims to be among the top six percent of all business schools worldwide: To continue being an attractive partner for international research and teaching collaborations and to create new scope for the future, we are aiming for institutional accreditation by the renowned agency AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) is a global nonprofit membership organization that connects educators, students, and business to improve the quality of business education around the world. Becoming a member of the AACSB means becoming part of this movement, which was founded in the USA in 1916.  

The organization connects, shares, and inspires innovation and quality throughout its network and the business community, ensuring diverse perspectives, a global mindset and the commitment to make a difference. 

Through membership, accreditation, research, thought leadership, professional development, and advocacy, AACSB partners with over 1.900 organizations, from more than 100 countries globally.

Assurance of Learning

Assurance of Learning (AoL) is a core component of AACSB accreditation and complements BESS’ already well-established quality management system in studies and teaching. AoL is a systematic and continuous process that ensures students achieve the learning expectations for the degree program in which they are enrolled.
