Application Process

The Hohenheim Summer School 2025 is an intensive academic program designed for advanced undergraduate and graduate students. Students interested in participating in the Summer School are asked to submit the application documents by e-mail to jana.funk@uni-hohenheim.de until April 15, 2025. Applicants will be informed by email if accepted to the program. The costs for accommodation and public transport, along with payment details, will be provided in the admission email .Registration for the Summer School is valid only upon receipt of payment for accommodation and public transport.

Application Documents

  • a signed application form
  • a transcript of records of previous studies
  • proof of English language at B2 level (for non-native English speakers only)
  • a scanned copy of passport

Tuition fees

Tuition fees are € 1.000 and do not include living costs. Students from partner universities are exempt from tuition fees.

The tuition fees include the following costs:

  • Letter of admission
  • Invitation letter for visa application, if necessary
  • Lectures & Lecture materials
  • Company visits
  • Wifi access on campus
  • Certificate of attendance

Additional Costs

All participants are required to cover their own costs for accommodation (about 850 EUR), public transport (about 80 EUR), food, private excursions and any other personal needs.

Accommodation

In the International Student Hotel students stay either in the Bed & Breakfast or in the shared apartment accommodation:

Bed & Breakfast

70 modern furnished rooms in different categories are available for short term accommodation on a daily basis. All rooms are equipped with telephone and free internet access. TVs are rentable at the reception. The hotel provides a lounge-like common area, which invites guests to get together in a relaxing atmosphere.

Shared apartment accommodation

The fully furnished single rooms divided in apartments for 3, 4 or 8 persons, are rentable from one month up to maximum six months. All apartments are provided with a kitchen for self-catering and shared bathrooms. All rooms are equipped with telephone, TV and internet connection. Breakfast can be booked optionally in the hotel.
