Laurea Magistrale in Economia e gestione delle aziende
As of the academic year 2012/13, the Department of Management offers the completely English-language program Laurea magistrale in Economia e gestione delle aziende - International Management and thus lays the foundation for this double Master’s program in cooperation with our Faculty.
The study program has a strong focus on the area of International Management and thus differs somewhat from the concentrations set in Hohenheim on Marketing & Management. Those interested should therefore take a close look at the study program in Venice.
The double Master’s program Venice-Hohenheim
Students with the focus Marketing & Management in the Master’s in Management can choose to complete the second year at the Universita Ca’Foscari di Venezia in the program Laurea magistrale in Economia e gestione delle aziende - International Management.
In the first year in Hohenheim, in addition to the basic area (18 EP), students take three compulsory modules from the subject “Management” as well as four additional modules. The selection of the modules is made according to the equivalency list for courses in Venice and Hohenheim. The selection of further courses in Venice (30 EP) is also done according to the equivalency list.
The second academic year in Venice foresees an integrated internship (6 EP) and the writing of the Master’s thesis (24 EP), supervised by professors in Venice, in addition to the chosen major modules (30 EP). In the context of the final examination, the Master’s thesis is presented to a commission.
Those interested in this program should know that there is only a very limited selection of modules in the second academic year, and that the curriculum sets a very strict course of studies.
