Young Researcher Award 2015

On 29 June 2015, the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences’ Faculty Board recognized the winners of this year’s "Young Researcher Paper Awards" in the Faculty Council.

The “Young Researcher Paper Award” is for young scientists in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences. It is given for publications that were published or have been accepted for publication in the previous year in high-ranking national or international journals. The amount of the award is 3000€.

This year, the award was given to the following two submissions:

  • Rinaldo Kühne, Patrick Weber, Katharina Sommer
    “Beyond cognitive framing processes: Anger mediates the effects of responsibility framing on the preference for punitive measures.” published in Journal of Communication, 65, 2015 (pp. 259-279)

  • Konstantin Kuck, Robert Maderitsch, Karsten Schweikert
    “Asymmetric over- and undershooting of major exchange rates: Evidence from quantile regressions.” published in Economics Letters 126, 2015 (pp. 114-118)
