New faculty board takes office on 1 January 2026  [13.11.25]

The Faculty Council of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences elected the new Faculty Board at its meeting in October. The newly elected committee will officially take up its duties on 1 January 2026.

The Faculty Board is composed as follows:

Prof. Dr. Benjamin Jung – Dean

Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schweiger – Dean of Studies

Prof. Dr. Marion Büttgen – Vice Dean for Research and Knowledge Transfer

Prof. Dr. Thomas Dimpfl – Vice Dean for International Relations

The faculty looks forward to working with the new board team and is confident about the coming years of joint development in research, teaching, internationalisation and knowledge transfer.

At the same time, the faculty would like to express its sincere thanks to the previous executive board for its dedicated and successful work and the orderly handover until 31 December 2025.

The faculty would like to thank the outgoing Faculty Board for their work and the positive shape of the last term of office.
