The Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences offers students the opportunity to complete selected degree programs as multiple-degree programs - double or triple degrees. In these programs, students spend part of their studies at the University of Hohenheim and another part at an international partner university. This model combines a solid academic education with valuable international experience and opens up excellent prospects for a global career.

As part of a multiple-degree program (double degree or triple degree), particularly high-achieving and motivated students can earn two to three recognized European university degrees during their studies. They spend periods of study at the University of Hohenheim as well as at renowned international partner universities, thereby benefiting from a unique combination of academic training and international experience.

The double-degree program enriched my studies with valuable international perspectives and helped me grow significantly, both academically and interculturally. Looking back, applying to the program was one of the best decisions I made during my time as a student, and I highly recommend it to any prospective student.
I was looking for a degree program that would challenge me academically while also combining two of my interests—languages and economics. With the Triple Bachelor’s in Economics, I found exactly that. The academic and cultural experiences in Germany, Belgium, and France, as well as the varying areas of focus across the different universities, have broadened my perspective on global economic interrelationships. At the same time, this program has specifically helped me develop my linguistic, intercultural, and analytical skills.
I decided to pursue the dual degree program with Pavia because it offers the opportunity to immerse myself in Italian culture and get to know a different academic environment.
I think the dual degree is valuable because it allows you to build international connections while also demonstrating that you’re willing to step outside your comfort zone.
My time at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice and the University of Hohenheim was very enriching, both academically and personally. Moving between two different universities and cultural environments not only opened up new academic perspectives for me but also strengthened my ability to adapt quickly to new situations. In addition, I gained valuable intercultural experience and met many inspiring people. Overall, this period significantly fostered my independence and open-mindedness and had a lasting impact on my view of international cooperation.
With the double degree program, I wanted to deepen my knowledge of economics, gain international experience, and specifically broaden my academic profile. I deliberately chose this program to strengthen my career prospects. The program’s international focus also helped me successfully apply for internships both in Germany and abroad.
