The Faculty Board cordially invites researchers from the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences to submit contributions until October 6th.
The retreat will take place on Monday, November 17th, 2025 from approximately 09:30 to 17:30 with breaks and lunch. A joint dinner is planned afterwards. Further details can be found in the attachment. BESST7 call for contributions (PDF)
Topics
Sustainable agrifood systems are an important topic for our society but also for our entire university. We decided to make this the focus of this retreat and explore which contributions our faculty can make from a wide range of perspectives, projects, and disciplines.
As agrifood systems interact with each other and with other related systems (e.g. the environment and climate, economy, social welfare, health, and bioeconomy), the challenges associated with the development of sustainable agrifood systems are also intertwined.
We invite you to submit contributions on topics that support the transformation of agricultural and/or food systems.
All contributions may be submitted informally via email to wiso_forschung@uni-hohenheim.de by October 6th.
Short presentations may be given by professors, academic counselors, lecturers, habilitation candidates and postdocs – also as joint presentations with doctoral candidates. All faculty researchers are cordially invited to attend and engage in the discussions. Please note that the language of the workshop will be English.
