8th Research Workshop of the Faculty on June 1, 2026 [21.05.26]
The 8th Business, Economics and Social Sciences retreaT (BESST) will take place on 01.06.2026 from 09:00 - 15:45 in the Balkonsaal (with breaks). All researchers of the faculty are cordially invited.
The Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences at University of Hohenheim cordially invites all researchers to the 8th Research Workshop on June 1, 2026, at the Balkonsaal in Schloss Hohenheim. The workshop will focus on strategies for successful third-party funding, insights into funding applications and review processes, and funding opportunities for PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers and professors.
The program features presentations by experienced researchers, interactive lightning rounds on funding opportunities for PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers, as well as a panel discussion on advancing third-party funding at BESS. Participants will also have the opportunity to network during the coffee and lunch breaks.
The workshop will begin at 09:00 with an informal get-together and conclude at 15:45 with a closing outlook by Prof. Dr. Marion Büttgen and Prof. Dr. Julia Fritz-Steuber. Researchers are encouraged to register by May 21, 2026.
